Pump the brakes Mitt.  Automaker bailouts began in the fall of 2008 with President Bush, who lent $17.4 billion to GM and Chrysler in an effort to protect over 1 million jobs that were on the chopping block if he didn’t act.  But I forgot you’re the guy that loves firing people.
